Why are we born without our consent ? And then were told were sinners and we will burn if we don't repent. Why, I didn't even ask to be here. I strongly believe christianity and every other religion is a control of the mind based off of fear.

Q1: if we could follow the Bible 100%, Christ wouldn't have had to die for us.
Q2: Are you so sure you were born without your consent, or maybe you just forgot you gave permission? Does the potter ask the clay for permission to make it into a vessel?
Q3: Everyone's a sinner...repentence is being sorry for screwing up and not wanting to do it again.

Yes...fear.
GOD: Don't murder anyone...or you will go to hell. Matter of fact, don't take things that don't belong to you, either.
MAN: God...you're being so unreasonable!

now you start wondering that you are born without yr consent ..hum.?. Well ...yes, and then you will have to get old....., and die.... without yr consent also. you got that? every religions has explained about this in their own ways. Buddhism say you are not belong to you. and Christianity say you will have to follow God's will. the key point is you are incapable with yr life. you will find more and more in your life that you can do nothing with it. You must surrender to that point , which is non-negotiable and true.

Why do people believe in education and then ignore their teachers and don't do their homework?

Why do people believe in exercise and join a fitness center, and then stop showing up to exercise?

Why do people believe in good health and dieting, and then smoke and get fat?

The answer seems to be that we easily get distracted.

Religious empires eventually are controlled by selfish leaders who do the same in regards to our understanding and faith in God. That's right religious empires distract us from understanding the message of God, and the message of Jesus.

What is that message?

Harmony is harmony.

Disharmony is the only sin against God.

im sorry you feel that way. i personally am a Christian because i know for a fact that God exists and He loves me so much that He sent His only son to die so that i can be forgiven! how amazing is that? As for the part about the Bible... everyone messes up, but Christians TRY to live according to the Bible because we want to try to honor God however we can. no one is perfect though....

Don't blame Christianity because those who profess it are not obeying its principles.

To some, Christianity is nothing more than a convenience. They will follow it as long as it agrees with them. Buy when it cramps their lifestyle, they disregard it.

good for you. in answer to your question, for the same reason we run red lights--we believe it's good to have laws, but we break them for our convenience. also, it's really hard and kind of outdated to believe you should follow a two thousand year old guidebook.

The Bible is so contradictory, you can't really follow all of it unless you're schizophrenic.
