i really like her a lot but i also love partying and hanging out at the bars where she can't because shes too young. all my friends say i need a girlfriend 21 or older.

I'm 20 and my husband is 27 we're married and I still can't go to any 21 or older clubs and he seems fine with it he just doesn't go out as much. So if you wouldn't mind staying home once in a while then you should go for it!

In some cases yes, but in your case no, because at 26, you don't sound like you're mature enough for her, being they you're into so-called "partying and hanging out."
She needs a man with some depth, whatever the age.

Hey if she's 18 she's of age. Go for it! A lot of way older men date 18 year olds.

i think that it is fine to date a younger girl as long as she is at the same maturity level as you are; however, I agree with your friends. If you like to drink/party/go to bars, it's just not a good idea...you don't want to get her into trouble, and if you do these things a lot, you won't be able to hang out with her as much as you would probably like.

Why not? 18 is a legal age and if you like this person and respect them it's up to the two of you.

I think age is nothing but a number as long as she is grown and im sure you and her can work out something to do if you two really love each other follow your hearts and not what other people tell you to do

i guess it would be ok i mean after you turn 18 your old enough to date anybody you want to. and since she can't go out to bars then have her over at your place and make some non-alcoholic drinks and invite some of your's and her friends over.

Listen to your friends. Finding a woman closer to your own age will provide benefits. You will have a lot more in common. She will speak your language.
Find a woman and leave the girls alone.

if you can make a relationship work, even if she's 18, then by all means go for it...besides, she doesn't really have to drink and she can still get into parties
