ok . . . my gf broke up with me back in march and said she wanted to date around and see whats out there and all that good stuff after a 2 year relationship. . she starts dating this kid i went to high school with 2 weeks later . . . i hate the kid so its obviously a bad situation for me . . . so i try to get her back for about 2 months and in the middle of june i went NC . . on our 2 year anniversery at the beginning of july she send me a text that says . . "today was two year" just to remind me of it i guess . . . and ever since that text she has been calling/texting/leaving voicemail/or emailing me once atleast ever 2-3 weeks . . . a few times in was 2-3 times in a week . . . i have not responded to her or anything . . . so its been 5 months and its still going on .. .she is still with this same guy so she obviously knows we cant be friends be cause of the situation.. . . . . .so why does she keep trying to contact me?. .

She is thinking "I want to make sure this guy(you) still likes me, even though I dont want a relationship with him." Basically you are the back-up guy and it is driving her crazy that you are not responding. Well done for that!
She is a flirt.
She wants you, but also wants to fool around as well. Its up to you as to whether you want a girl like that? Sounds high maintenance to me. And very immature.
As long as you keep ignoring her, she will keep trying to get your attention!
You either have to tell her straight to back off, or keep her dangling the way she is right now.

She is definatly confused and the things that she found in you she isn't finding in her current boyfriend!!!! I reckon if you message back and show that you are always there whenever she calls and stuff that if something happens between her new boyfriend or with any other guy she knows that you will always be there for her and she can go back to you because you will except her back!!!! Do what you feel is right and if you know you are worth better then being treated this way then it is time to move on and find yourself someone who will treat you right and not just have you there for backup!!!!

She obviously wants to see you and still has a thing for you...
I don't think you should let yourself get jerked around by her. If she wants to get together with you, it should be as SINGLE friends. I don't think you wanna step off in the drama this is bringin.

I say contact her just to tell her to leave you alone and to move on with her life. She chose this, not you.

sounds like she wants her cake and to eat it to. i think you're doing the right thing by ignoring her. she should have gotten the hint by now. it was very hurtful of her to turn right around and date someone you hate, she can't expect for y'all to be friends.
