All prophets were born as human beings and brought up as any other human being. They had all the frailties of a human being in their behaviour. Those portrayed as Prophets in the Old Testament, New Testament and the Koran do not command any reverence once the details in their conduct is screened.
But bigger question is then, what made them prophets? Were they self-proclaimed prophets?

I need to look that one up. Intriguing question. However that's like asking why most Irish people like beer or why many African Americans like chicken. We all struggle with something. Thank God that He is a forgiving and merciful God.

Good question, if u seen in Christian Bible, most of the prophet did sin, From David - in Sex, Elijah-In not believing GOD preserve, Moses in Anger against God command, Paul in doing massacre of 1st Christian community,
....that prove what the bible said, that all man is sinner... I put some verse
"as it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one; There is none that understandeth, There is none that seeketh after God; "
(Rom 3:10-11)
Most of world's religion always put a holy prophet... but Holy Bible is not, it put that HUMAN is a SINNER, they even can't help themselves so how can they help others...
That's why, Christ as Son of GOD, should come to this earth as a perfect redeemer... a perfect sacrifice... to save us, not only us, but all the prophets (read sinner) who believe in GOD promises...
do you believe?

Huh? I'll just take a guess. Prophets are human, right. Sexuality is one of the pleasures of being human.

For the spirit to evolve into a spiritual being it would need to live through or in some way understand all of the failings of the human spirit. the greater the sin the greater the redemption.
