I am a Freemason, not very much part of the media, although I teach at a nuclear power plant and write quite a bit. If you think that Freemasonry is some giant webwork with a gigantic spider pulling the strings up on top, I think you are in for a large disappointment. If you wish to know if a person is a Freemason, the best way to find out is to ask them. We do not hide (at least not in the US); we have had to in some countries like Nazi Germany and some Catholic countries where belonging to Freemasonry was a death sentence.

BTW, I am a member of an esoteric Order of Freemasonry called American Co-Masonry. We admit women and men. Wonder if you knew we existed?

Freemasonry takes good people and helps them improve themselves. We work to make this world a better place for all. Brotherly love, Relief and Truth are our mainstays. I know it is romantic to think of us as cloak-and-dagger spies, but we just are not.

If you are interested in reading more about the history of Freemasonry or about our Order, feel free to click on the link below. Likewise, write to me.

Best wishes,
A Master Mason
