i was in a serious relationship for almost 2 years and we broke up about 3 and a half months ago. i have met a few men since the break up.i have been hanging out with a particular one and we talk everyday on the phone, he is nice and he makes me laugh but everytime the mood is right for us to get close i'm always running away. i mean he is a nice guy and everything and he wants us to be in a relationship and i want that too but i just don't know why im running. i still love my ex boyfriend.. do u think that that is the reason why im behaving this way?

You might want to take some time for yourself and not date anyone for a while, to get over the ex. Otherwise, each guy will just feel used, if they know. I know for me, I started going on dates post breakup, but then, I realized all were so boring and pointless, and maybe that was because I just wasn't ready to start dating again. Time and space...

I believe you could be running because of a few different reasons, anc those are: 1) because you are still very vulnerable, 2) you could be still in love with your ex, 3) you can also be scared of getting hurt again after being with someone for a long period of time.

Well you might be afraid that your going to get hurt. It could also be the fact that a part of u is still hoping that u and ur ex will still get together. Its up to u to decide if its worth waiting for or u want this new guy.

possibly...if you really loved him, that love will never go away. you just have to work it out and make sure that you aren't meant to be together. that way there are no regrets
