not really, white is for anti-bellum or federal style mansions(ie.symmetrical and columned and rather bland facades) its too formal for queen anne. earth tones and pastels are good and trim, shutters, doors window frames etc. should be a contrasting color. you can get away with using 2 or even 3 different trim colors on a house of this style---if the colors are chosen carefully and used wisely. bright ,even loud colors are best left to the more whimsical, gingerbread of the victorian era. the architectural details of queene anne can be shown to best advantage by using a more neutral main color and slightly more aggressive colors for detail. but dont go crazy, this style is still rather reserved tho not in a formal way. a combination that could work: main color-buff or almond; primary trim--forest green;secondary trim--oxblood
