It depends on the quality of the diamond and the setting that you choose...go to www.bluenile.com and take a look at what they have to offer. It will give you a general idea of pricing.

2 Carat Diamond Ring Price

2016-10-07 12:10:29 · answer #2 · answered by ? 4 · 0 0

Anything after 2 carat is going to cost you at least 20 grand or more. Of course that depends on quality as well. The better quality the ring is the more it will cost. My best friend is getting engaged and they spent $18 grand on a 1.61. carat D color, Internal fawless ring. I thought this was a very good deal. 2 Carats I would say it's gonna cost you....

As a bit of a jewelry lover, I can tell you that 2 carats costs a lot more than say 1.75 or 1.9 carats. Even though they look almost the same. If cost is an issue, then I'd go with a slightly smaller than 2 carat stone. She probably wont know the difference but your wallet will!
The cost of the ring will depend on the stone quality. SI1 to SI2 is perfectly fine. (that means slightly included but only visible under a loupe) If you go with a stone that's IF or VS1, you're paying more for something she'd only notice under a magnifying glass. How often does she have a loupe in her purse? Probably never.

Good luck!

As others have said, it depends on the quality of the diamond itself. In general, you're looking at a few thousand to tens of thousands. Here are some of the best prices you can find:

http://www.amazon.com/s/ref=sr_nr_p_36_6?rh=n%3A3367581%2Ck%3A2+carat+diamond+engagement+rings%2Cp_36%3A1253539011&bbn=3367581&keywords=2+carat+diamond+engagement+rings&ie=UTF8&tag=gymp-20&qid=1405225857&rnid=386563011

These are sold from Amazon so everything is listed. Look for GIA certified and you can be sure you're getting the good stuff.

i think it is about $1000 for every half carat... depends on the quality and clarity of the diamond too though.

Go to a jewelry store and find out. Would that be a flawless diamond?

It depends on the quality of the stone. It can be as little as $1000 for a crummy stone, or $50,000 for a real nice one, or anywhere in between.
