i really want to lose some weight. the diets i try are not that great and successful so finally im asking here. please tell me a great diet or way to lose weight other than sports or exercising.

This summer I stopped drinking regular soda, paid a bit of attention to what I ate (example: had the not fried option more often, and stopped eating when I was full), and walked instead of rode when i could. i lost 25 pounds over 3 months, and am feeling better and thinking about joining a gym to make more of a difference. :)Its about longterm little choices, not dropping 10 pound in 2 weeks on some crappy diet and then gaining 13 back.

It's all about the Calories in and out. No other special secret. Eating less Calories or expending more Calories through exercise is the only way to lose fat. Sports/exercise are very important. You won't gain a bunch of muscle, as females usually can't unless they are on steroids or are weight lifting a ton.

Also you must make lifestyle changes. Otherwise, you will be doomed. If you try to starve yourself, most likely you will be depriving yourself which only leads to binges.

Find yourself a registered dietitian who also has experience in exercise and fitness and weight management.

Well, so do I...
I think I started gaining weight when I quit football team... Lots of running and weight lifting is good but I don't think it looks too good if girls have too much muscles... Six packs look hot on girls though...
