I was hanging out with my buddies and a bunch of them were laughing at one of my close friend about waiting to have sex. I personally believe that's a noble thing to do but what do you guys think? He's 24 by the way =)

Waiting can be a noble thing, however if you're just building up your expectations in your head, sex can be quite disappointing.

I was discussing this with my husband the other day, and I was telling him that I wish I'd waited until I met him. He answered with "Why would you wish for that? You shouldn't look back on your experiences like they are mistakes, but rather like lessons."

That's my only fear for your friend.

I think that's a very noble thing to do too! It takes a great man to do that. I'd love to find a guy that doesn't always have sex on the brain. And shame on your buddies for making that guy feel badly, he's a stand-up guy! :)

they ought to have sex even as a million- They both pick to. 2- they are both mature adequate and would settle for the consequences of it, might want to they take position (like an STD or being pregnant). Dude, condoms do not continually artwork. And sex is a thanks to make children; believe it or no longer, sex isn't very few exciting little thanks to bypass a even as, that's the way human beings reproduce. in the adventure that they are going to have sex, she o.k. might want to get pregnant. inspite of the actuality that in the adventure that they purely have sex once, she might want to nevertheless get pregnant from it. So perchance she's telling him she doesn't pick to have sex because she's smart adequate to comprehend that's no longer in her perfect interest to get and STD or get knocked up at the moment. In my opinon, no human being must have sex previously they are waiting to be father and mother or are married. If human beings waited til they were at actually one of those 2 degrees, there will be no teenage pregnancies, there will be fewer STDS, there does no longer be almost as many children abandoned, and so on. such fairly some complications like those above will be solved if human beings might want to basic techniques to save their legs closed!

I think it's horrible that guys would make fun of him for that. That is a very great and RIGHT thing to do...I don't believe its OK to have sex before you're married; it's just that a lot of us are weak and do it anyway, (myself included). Just wait until he finds that special girl, and she will appreciate the fact that he waited for her, and other the other guys' girlfriends/wives will probably be jealous because their hubby didn't. :)

I think it's great that he's saving himself for the right girl, as long as he's otherwise happy with his social life and isn't making himself wait too long (by 30, celibacy might start to feel like a bit of drag).

I had a friend who waited until he met his wife-to-be in his mid-20s before having intercourse (though he'd had other girlfriends and done things short of the main act) -- he says he's glad he'd saved it for her. Though I'm not sure, I think she might have done the same for him.

A worth having is attracted to guys with maturity and discipline. Waiting for Ms. Right instead of Ms. Right Now shows that you have both. Waiting also leaves you more of yourself to give to Ms. Right, and that will make your relationship even more special.
Anybody who says different is bitter because they wish they had waited.
Hang in there!

yes, it is noble. the girl will appreciate it and realize how much she means to him when he finally does have sex. besides who cares what the guys think. they won't be the ones reaping the benefits when the guy gets extra points just for waiting. and when i mean extra points - extra points!
