Put heat on it and it will help bring the pus up to the top of it and then lance it (Or go to the doctor and they will do it). Boils can be caused by poor diet. Diabetics...especially if they are overweight, tend to get them a lot. My husband used to get them all the time until he lost enough weight to not have to take his diabetes meds.

I use to get boils i used hot compresses also campha phinic it healed didnt leave a scar and has not been back make sure you leave it covered at all times

Place a small piece of raw bacon fat over boil. Place a band aid over the bacon . In 24 hours the boil will erupt and drain. wash out residue ( puss)with peroxide. It will heal over in a week.
