-This is a Joke/Riddle. [See if you can figure it out]
There is a man who paints a picture of a man sitting in a chair.
He then points to his painting and says to the Audience,
"Brothers and Sisters, I have none
But that mans father,
Is my fathers son."
-Who is The man in the painting?
[It's really quite easy if you think about it]

The man in the painting is himself. :) I figured this out last year in class for an Extended Response question.

It sounds to me like it's a painting of one of the artist's cousins. I'm not sure if you placed the commas correctly in your riddle, so it is a bit confusing.
Edit: I amended my answer to say cousin.
The himself answer may be correct, and I did suspect it. But, right or not, I have trouble understanding it even with the exclusion of the painter having siblings. Perhaps I am over analyzing it, but it reads to me like the first father is as such to the subject of the painting but is also the son of a different father.
