I know what will work. Like someone said only use a wide tooth comb on wet hair. I use Aveda Elements Smoothing Fluid and a Chi Straightening Iron. Chi is one of the best straightening Irons but it is kind of pricey, but worth every penny. Without the Aveda Elements my hair would be frizzy, puffy and big. These 2 have worked a miracle on my hair and I would never use anything different. I don't work for either company. My hair stylist used both of these products on my hair so that is how I came to know of these products. I love them. I wish I could show you a before and after picture. When I do my hair now it is so smooth, soft, shiny and beautiful. If you saw it before you would never believe my hair could look so good. I am confident it will help yours too. Good Luck.

First you straighten your hair, then if it's frizzy, take a toothbrush that you don't use adn spray hairspray on it. Then glide the toothbrush over the frizz and it'll stay down. It makes it less puffy, frizzless, and straighter.

Use Paul Mitchel super skinny shampoo and conditioner, don't brush wet or curly hair (use a wide tooth comb for curly).

Well if I were you I would ask Santa ( :p ) for a really nice straightener. It might (MIGHT) make it go down. and after that put some jell on it.
If that doesn't work that go to a professional hair stylist.

use a ceramic ion straightener (seems to be one of the best kind) and some product afterwards. I use biolage or matrix smoothing products for the frizz control.
