I agree with others, aspirin IS a medicine you may give dogs, as a matter of fact my vet advised that my dog take aspirin for a recent muscle sprain. BUT, 9 weeks old seem quite young to take chances with ANY medication and if the dog is still in pain after seeing the vet today, the best thing to do is wait til morning and call the vet. And to the previous anwserer, TYLENOL IS LETHAL TO PETS! So is chocolate, onions, grapes.

Contrary to one of the answers you got, there are a couple of medicines that are perfectlly alright to give to dogs. Aspirin and Pepto but not all dogs can handle them and that is a 9wk old puppy.
DO NOT give the puppy an any medicine at home that is not prescribed by a vet.
Doseage is a very crucial factor and to give the puppy more than he needs even though I know you are trying to help the puppy, you could be doing more harm than good.
Call a vet clinic and see what they suggest given the puppy's symptoms.

Why does your puppy need an aspirin? Dogs can take aspirin but never ever Tylenol! If you give your puppy aspirin you must wait about 17 days for it to leave its system. So consider ,if the problem persists and you need to take it to the vet, the vet may not be able to prescribe what is truly need. Good luck

Like I said before, talk to a vet. Its usually not a good idea to give an animal human medication, although i have heard of giving dogs bufferin before and thats safe. But for a puppy check with the vet.

I said on the other one that it would probably be okay with just half since a vet told me that dogs can take baby aspirin, but since he has been given a shot by the vet, then I wouldn't until checking with the vet. It might cause a reaction. Good luck.

Don't give any medication to a 9 week old puppy unless you have been instructed to do so by a DVM.
