I have been learning to tattoo from that use to tattoo in a shop and now tattoos out of his house does anyone think that is wrong. I have also done 10 tattoos so far and I have only been doing it for 4 months now. Does anyone think that is too soon or do you think that all depends on the person?

OK I personally would NEVER get a tattoo done in someones HOUSE or by ANYONE that is only 4 months in! Go to a tattoo shop and train there. take some biology classes and anatomy! your gonna need that! you also need to take classes in proper cleanliness an sterilization! You will also need to stay up on the new technices every couple years! then after a couple more years of practice you might be ready to tattoo! before all that DON"T TOUCH ANYONE WITH ANY NEEDLE!!!!! Your pushing to soon slow down as take some of those classes. Train with a Tattoo artist in a shop not at home! NEVER at home!

I have 4 tattoo's and I have to be honest with you, there's no way I'd let you tattoo me. It's not because you're just learning, it's because of "where" you are learning. I'd feel much more comfortable with you if you were working in a well respected shop that taught you proper sterilizing of the needles and the proper measures to take against the spread of HIV and hepatitis.

I would never get a tattoo in someones house, or by someone who's only been doing it for 4 months. If you don't think its wrong, then what do you care what we think about it?

too soon for what? for you to branch out and tattoo on your own? i wouldn't let you tattoo me having only done 10 tattoos. not that i don't think you may be good but i requre my artist to be very experienced and have an impressive portfolio. i think it's fine for you to tattoo out of a house, as long as you properly sterilize everything and use an autoclave.

Out of his house? Does he have all the proper equipment for sterilization and whatnot? It sounds kind of sketchy.

I wouldn't let you put a tattoo on me if you had only been doing it for a couple months.

well i learned out of my house but you have someone teaching you. but you should learn in a shop so that way if anything happens you will not get in trouble. and if you mentor feels your good enough to start then be happy. but like i said go and learn from someone that has a shop.

If you are learning from a person who knows how...and the people you are tatoo'ing understand you are a student...then there shouldnt be a problem. Some states requires a licence...but that is per state
