Only a religiously blind person would believe that only good people believe in God. Just because someone is Muslim, Wiccan, Druid, Pagan, Jewish, Buddhist, or Hindu doesn't make them evil. Someone being good or bad is decided by their actions and their words, not their faith. I help out those who can't help themselves as much as I can. I hold doors for people and say hello to strangers, without knowing a thing about their religious beliefs. A couple good examples of this. Adolf Hitler believed in God, in fact he believed he was doing God's work, but he wasn't exactly Mr. Nice Guy. And then we have people like Ghandi, who didn't follow the Christian faith, and is seen by most as a saint and hero to human and religious rights. Some of the nicest people you can meet may not believe in the same religion as you.

No, Not all good people believe in God. Just because they are a good person doesn't mean they are saved or believe in God, or the Koran. Being good doesn't mean you believe in God. Cause "even the demon's believe in God and shutter." From the bible

My husband does not believe in God and is still one of the kindest most thoughtful and generous people you could ever meet. I think I was a pretty good person when I was agnostic.
But since becoming a Christian I have gained so much emotionally, understanding that the Spirit is always with me.
Understanding the profound implications of Christ’s sacrifice has made my life so much richer.
What I have found is that Faith is about a lot more than being a good person, it’s about living life more fully. When you strive to please God in every area of your life, it is amazing how much more rewarding each day becomes.

Not all good people believe in God, and absolutely there are good people who don't believe! God is good, and where God is, he will plant His goodness in ANYONE He wants to-- that includes those who don't believe in His holy books, or even in Him. I have seen God's light & love in Atheists, Agnostics, Pagans, & people of other relgions who don't believe in the Bib;e or Koran. They are no less beautiful for not believing.

Oh absolutely. C.S. Lewis was incredibly intelligent and, even though I'm no longer Christian, I still highly respect his work. To dismiss an entire group of people as "unintelligent" based upon their religious preferences seems pretty intolerant to me. Add: Um, I don't know if you know too much about Peter Youngren, but he really isn't the best person to use to represent Christians. I live in the area he works in. The church he preaches in taught that anyone who didn't go to their particular church would go to hell. Also, when groups from that church went overseas, they wouldn't give aid until someone was willing to convert (I had to read/edit an article someone from the church wrote about missions). I don't know if any of their tactics have changed since. But as of the late 1990s, that was still happening.

yes. I like to think of myself as one as I noticed i've followed all ten commandments, although I am not afraid of going to hell if I don't. (maybe a little infringement on stealing and respecting parents, nothing major or that really hurt anyone else) but this makes me feel all the better about doing the right thing, because I am not acting out of selfishness.

With the right amount of seasoning anyone should be good at least once in their lives.- How do you "Rub" people the right way?
http://www.upstate.edu/library/healthy/rubrecipes.htm
Many people think they know the truth but don't live it.
Many religious people set the worst examples of their own religions and faith. Ask yourself who really are the meek?
Have a nice recipe.

No to the first question.
Yes to the second question: Lots and lots and lots of people. Millions in fact. Reach out and embrace the human race. Seek outside of your self-made box. Discover new cultures and beliefs. Expand your mind!

no! one of my best friends doesn't believe in the bible , but he is a good moral man. He works as a fireman ,and volunteers all the time at children's hospital. I wish he would accept Christ , but that is everyone choice.
