I'm so sorry I can't give you a specific answer but what ever you do, put alot of TIME into it.
What I mean is do something with him that takes up a a bunch of time (make a day of it), like cook him a meal and do romantic things through-out and end with great sex...

He knows that you are unemployed so he should not be expecting anything elaborate. Show him some extra attention. Give him a birthday card and sing happy birthday.

I'm guessing you have a computer you can use since your online, so make a coupon book for him, print coupons that say things like "one strip tease", "one spong bath", "one b.l.o.w. job" and i think you get the picture now. So be creative and make ones of things you know he loves for you to do to him. Trust me it is one gift he wont forget. Just print them all out and staple them together.
