For the Bible, dump the Internet, go straight to the source!
Just pray this prayer: Lord Jesus, I repent of my sins, and believe that you died on the cross for me. Lord, come into my heart and make a dwelling in me. Fill me with your spirit. Come, Lord. Amen. You are now saved!!!
Now, a good place to start would be the Bible, in the Gospel of Mark. From there, go to Matthew, then John. Then go to Genesis, Exodus, Leviticus, Deuteronomy (skip Numbers). If you are getting tired of reading the history, go back to the New Testament. Don't read Revelation yet, either. Now read Acts and Romans. Now, go to Job and then Luke. Those are good texts. If you would like to read more, read more. If you are feeling "adventurous, go to Revelation, and read about... well, you'll see. :)
Don't listen to the crap about, "God is fake, God isn't real, God is just fantasy, etc". They are lying to you.

Dear Brian,
Try blueletterbible.org or try any of the calvary chapel websites. I also want to suggest a good book by Charles Stanley called Eternal Security--it'll give you plenty of Bible passages and also give you the next steps to take after accepting God. Hope that helps.
Kindly,
Nickster
P.S.: Feel free to email me with any questions i can give you Bible verses if you'd like...
