Concentrating solely on exercising your abdominal muscles will not do much for your figure. Keeping your body fat low will bring out the best of your abs. So far as strength training squats and lunges will do the most for your figure. Your best bet would be to stick with crunches because they are pretty good, but don't over do it.

Dancing is fun like cheerleading so you could enjoy it. Latin American types of dances like Salsa you can do with a DVD in the Livingroom and makes for great abs. There are no crunches involved or being on the floor. All of my friends who do these Salsa Latin American dance excercises have the most beautiful ads I have ever seen.

Isometrics are a great way to increase abdominal tone. If you spend 15 % of your school time pushing up on your desk you will be amazed!

do Pilates.... its low intensity but highly effective and all the exercises revolved around a strong core (your abs).

warm up(10 min) + cardio/kickboxing(10-15min)+ ABS crunches (5-10 min) + stretch(5min)

enjoy your new sexy ABS(only cranches are not enough,as you not only want to build strong abs muscles, but burn fat that covers them :))

.. and.. DANCE .. a lot! (
