I would like to add that if you change your desktop environment's theme with the default gaim theme turned on, (provided you're using Linux or Windows), the theme should adapt to your desktop environment's settings. Running it in KDE gives you a wide selection of themes. For a mac-ish feel, choose the theme Kreamik. for a Windows-esque feel, try Plastik. To get creative, change the colors and you'll get a lot of possible coloe combinations for Gaim and all your other programs.
