First off your hair and body changes every 7 years also it could change because of medicine, having a baby etc. you should always get your hair trimmed every 6 to 8 weeks to close off the ends it will grow faster if not it will break off some where up the hair shaft. Also you dont need to use expensive products but never use Pantene at first it is great but then it builds up. If you need to get it from the store Tresseme??? is good. Also if you use the flat iron you should use a thermal heat protector w/it.

Stop curling your hair. The heat kills it. Also straightening and blowdrying on a daily basis can ruin your hair. You might be able to find something like a shampoo or conditioner to help with split ends. Also try using a better shampoo or conditioner when you do straighten or curl your hair. It will protect it better.

so that you do not favor to apply 'hair straighteners' - You advise the drug shop kind, i assume? :p there's a eastern hair straightening procedure (it lasts 6-9 mos); many salons provide this, yet I daresay that is expensive. you're searching at a $2 hundred+ technique!! except for that, there's a product that you'll be able to %. up in the ethnic haircare area (won't be able to save in thoughts the call, sorry) that works with a flat iron and could save your hair immediately for 7 days. except for that, in the journey that your hair is lengthy sufficient you would attempt the former '70s hippie trick and use soda cans as rollers!

Try a new shampoo or serum, a mid range price one like matrix is pretty stellar. Also don't touch the curling iron for a little while.

Deep conditioner. Otherwise, you'll have to trim it regularly to keep it healthy, irons are notoriously bad on hair. Load up on heat styling products and talk to a hairdresser who know's what they're talking about. Your hair is not as straight because it's parched and damaged!

omg i have that exact problem.
my hair was super straight...but since i started straightening it with a curling iron...it has split ends high and low, and it's frizzier then ever. try getting one of those spray things (no clue what their called...but you can buy them at great clips) that you just spray on your hair everytime before you straighten. it'll protect it from the damage. C= good luck.

I think since you ironed it curly so much, you kind of forced to be that way, maybe try not curling it for a while and ironing it straight. I think you kindda burnt it in place
