An allergy is your body's way of protecting you from something that it thinks will do you harm. So clearly your body thinks that your ex is something you should stay away from even if your head and your heart haven't caught up to the rest of you yet.
That's the snippy response, it's more likely that you're allergic to perfume your ex is wearing or the detergent they are using. But personally, I like the thought that your body is actually rejecting your ex... that's great and smart.

The only true instance of allergy to a person that I am aware of is semen allergy. Some women who are allergic to their partners semen may have an allergic reaction after intercourse. This is proven by the fact that condoms will prevent it.
I am not aware of allergic reactions being precipitated by being in the same room as a person. I would think that psychological factors could play a big part especially since this is your ex. Itching is a common symptom that can be triggered by psychological stress. It is often seen during the placebo challenge of a drug challenge but unless it is accompanied by objective signs of allergy such as hives wheezing or swelling then it is likely not true allergy.

She may be wearing a certain type of perfume, she may have just been around some animals that you are allergic too, or she may even be using a certain type of laundry detergent that you may be sensitive to. With it being your ex, maybe she knows that you are allergic to something and is intentionally wearing or carrying something to make you itch... just a thought- probably not though.

I don't think you can actually be allergic to a person but you can fragrances they're wearing. It could be stress nerves making you itch around her. I know if I'm around some people my head starts to hurt. Seriously it'll be they're perfume or hairspray or something like that

You can be allergic to his cologne or deodorant. It could be something on his clothes. Maybe he has a pet at home and you are allergic to dog or cat dander.
I have never heard of a person being allergic to another person.

It may not be an allergic reaction, it may just be your body's way of dealing with a little bit of anxiety. Maybe just being around your ex makes you a little nervous...(just a thought)

Two words. Pet dander. That is why you are allergic to your ex.

I would think that it's something he's wearing that is bothering you. Animal dander on clothes, cologne, soap, etc.
