Just the other day I heard him talking to his friends saying "should I ask her out? I know her so well and I think she is such a great person." so since I had been getting close to him and chatting it up I thought he was talking about me so I walked by as sexy as I could, turned my head, looked at him, giggled, turned back around and kept walking. So the next day I dressed up the best I could, put my best shoes on and when I got to school he walked up to me and said, "Hey, Melissa, Could you tell me where Stephanie is? I have something important to ask her." so I said she should be walking to room 606 and he left. Then at lunch I went and told Stephanie that I thought he would ask me out but all she said was, "What are you talking about? He already asked me out!" So I went home and cried and now I don't know what to do because Steph and Alex are mad at me. Please help!!

Hmmm...well you should just move on. Did she know that you liked him in the first place? That's the first question that you should think about. Well, don't be mad at her because if she DIDN'T know the well you shouldn't be mad. Just don't stop liing her because of this. Don't let a boy ruin your friendship. And if she DID know then maybe she liked him at the same time you did and didn't want to tell you or something. Well basically just keep it cool.

Well, if she is your best friend, she shouldnt be mad at you! Friends come before boys in all situations. I would just talk to her about it and make very light of it. Don't be all emotional about it, if he wants to be with her then he is just not the one for you right now..there is just somebody better out there about to come your way...but the more you dwell on it the more delay that the one for you right now is going to come. I'd get over your crush, and tell your best friend to get over her jealousy and all be friends again! good luck!

Unfortunately, I've been in a situation similar to yours twice! What luck! Anyway, I'm sorry to say that there's nothing you can do about it. If your best friend dates your crush, and your crush truly loves your best friend, then you cannot break their relationship.
Of course you can tell your best friend how you truly feel about her dating your crush, and if she really and truly is your best friend, she'll be understanding; but I doubt that she'll break up with him and let you have him.
You just have to move on in life. That's how life is. There's plenty of other fish in the sea. There's always chances.

Did she know you liked him? If she did, you should confront her. If not, you should confront her. Just let her know you like him... But if she refuses to back down, it's not going to be the end of the world...

thats pretty bitchy well if she knew you liked him and like REALLY liked him then she shouldnt have but if you kept it to yourself then you dont have anything to be mad at her for.....I was in the same situation I was onsessed with this guy for YEARS and he didnt like me but he went out with my best friend instead and everyone knew i liked him but eventually they broke up and we put t ebhind us
