I have very strong feelings for my friend *Susie, and since she just broke up with her boyfriend, she is available. She said that she wants to be single for a while, and I respect that. But once she wants to another shoulder to cry on, I'm afraid that I'll miss my chance with her. What should I do?

Also, my OTHER friend *Kat basically HATES Susie, and doesn't want me to be friends with her because she says that Susie has hurt me previously when I tried to get into a relationship with her. I have moved past it, but Kat hasn't and says that she never will. I am afraid that if I try and get into a relationship with Susie, then Kat would disown me. What should I do?

And also, Kat hates the fact that I'm still able to still be FRIENDS with Susie.

And I already tried to ask Kat out, but she said that she likes me as a friend, and it will not go further than that. Since I learned that, I let go of my hopes with getting a relationship with Kat.

you NEED to follow your heart! if you friend *Kat can't accept you for who you are and who you like, then apparently she isn't a very good friend!

Maybe you should leave both of them alone and remain friends. It's better to find someone else, then have the possibility of losing two friendships. Also if Susie has hurt you before, more than likely she'll do it again. Let her cry on your shoulder, but don't think it's because she likes you. You are her friend, and you are good to respect her wishes that she wants to be single for a while. If it's meant to be, then it will be. But if not, then someone else will come your way. Good luck and God Bless!

does Kat like you...sounds like it....check that out first of all....

and maybe you should steer clear of this Susie girl if she's hurt you b4. A crying shoulder soon gets the cold shoulder!

Kat cares about you dummy! Apparently more than you care about you. Her advice is on target. Listen to her. A year from now thank her for helping you avoid the romantic groin kick coming your way from Susie.

well just be there for Susie and be a good friend to her and she wil console in you if you let her know that you care.

as for Kat if she hates you because you date Susie she isnt realy a good friend but if she just gets mad and gives you a hard time it means she cares about you and is lookin out for you but will eventualy accept your descision no matter how much it pisses her off and will deal with it

A good friend of mine is having the same problem you are. OK, first you need to give her some time to get over her break up and then when she's ready you guys should start to hang out more. In maybe a few weeks just start dropping some hints. Then go for it.

Good Luck!
