What circumstances would be acceptable for this type of behavior. He's enroute to the US and is in the navy. The last time I checked, I recieved an email from him on yesterday so the nipr/sipr can't be down. Ummm, the phone call maybe I just want some type of reassurance from him that he remembers my birthday. I don't think he made a mental note like I have with everything we do. Ladies, help me out, what will you do??? I'm looking for excuses to say well maybe I will let him slip by with this one, what do you think? I believe if someone loves you no matter how far you guys are apart from each other, if I knew there might be a slim chance that the communication line goes down I would have reminded you that I still remember your birthday and have a happy early birthday wish from me. Well that's how I feel, so what do you think?

Hey im a marine in Iraq right now and ya the day that i went to call my girlfreind for her birthday the phones were down, i didn't forget about her birth day. I felt so bad that i couldn't call her and i thought that i should have wished her a happy birth day earlier, but i wanted it to be on the exact day, i wanted it to be speacial, and everything got screwed up because the lines were down, and plus usually when the phones are down so is the internet.

Well I'm pretty sure he wouldn't forget such a big day.
He's in the Navy for crying out loud.
I really think you should give him a break...

look he is in the navy right. sometimes it is to talk to the ones we love when we want to.
