Bad code... For some reason the yahoo spell checker doesn't work right on my computer and I have to assume I am not the only one. Anyways does it really matter. If I am able to communicate an awnser or understand on then who cares. If it is not understandable they won't get many awnsers that help.
May people may also be multitasking and trying to help people on borrowed time... For example I help many of my friends with computers. I cannot afford to do grammar and spell checking when I am in a major rush. Check the legibility then send. I am assuming that happens to many people.
Hope This helped

Laziness. Sometimes English is not the person's primary language and when they use spell check they're not always sure which word to substitute.

Because they are lazy, ignorant, and if they really spell that badly, I am guessing they are barely literate, therefore cannot read the "Spell Check" option.

because they ASSUME the whole world understands what they're trying to ask. and they think people should be able to understand their English since they understand it very well :)
i'm one of them that don't touch spell check at all because i PRESUME i type correctly everytime! and i think people will be able to understand my message too--hehe... sorry if you don't!
