Matt would win, even all other things equal. Randy is more of a pure wrestler and not as skilled in kicks. He has heavy hands and AWESOME ground skills. Matt is a more rounded fighter and would give Randy some serious problems on the ground and stand-up.

Randy Couture. Based on skill alone, I'd go with Couture because he has a better stand up game than Hughes. They are pretty much equal on the ground.

I gotta go with Randy Couture. He is just as good a wrestler, if not better than Hughes, and he is well-rounded. He's been in more battles against tougher competition than Hughes. I give Randy the edge.

Are you kidding me. Not a Matt Huges Fan, thank god for GSP, but he faster, stronger, smarter, and a more evolved fighter. His game never really cahnged and you have to keep changing to keep winning just the law's of the land.

Can't compare because size plays a role in how you fight. It's like comparing Ali to Leonard.
