your cat will definitely become more affectionate during times of pregnancy. I had a very small cat get pregnant and it was very hard to tell by the size of her stomach. I knew because she was in heat for a day, got outside, and then wasn't in heat anymore. However, I would feel her stomach as more and more time passed and I swear I could feel lumps. No movement or kicks or anything like that but lumpy. Be gentle. Also, if you are really in tune with your cat's habits you will be able to tell because she will change temperaments and habits a little.

Be sure to google some of this stuff too, there is so much helpful information out there. Stuff on how to care for a pregnant cat and how to care for the kittens.

In my personal experience, she started to hang out in dark and quiet places the closer she got to pregnancy. She was starting to get a private and safe place ready for her and her kittens. You want to maybe see were she starts hanging out thats different and set up some cushions maybe even with a warming pad underneath it. You want to get her comfortable with that place so she wants to have her kittens there and not somewhere(in the boxspring or maybe even sneaks outside) where you wont be able to check on the kittens to make sure they are alright. If she does have kittens make sure you give her and them plenty of privacy for a couple of weeks otherwise she will feel threatened and move them. My roommates girlfriend was constantly doing as I asked her not to and bothering them and holding them at week(s) old and every day I came home I had to find the cat and kittens again. It is very hard to do this but make sure you give them their privacy, but also check up on them. Lastly, I think I was lucky in that my cat came up to me before she went into labor and I knew something was going on so I was able to be their during the birthing, I even woke up my roommate. Your cat and the kittens may need your help and supervision during this time so don't be afraid to be there. I actually had to gently guide one out and plus your cat may actually feel at ease if you are there for her. But don't be surprised to come home one day and there are kittens meowing in the closet.

Sorry for the rambling and long story, just trying to give anything I can think of to help.

EPT TEST!! lol...just kidding!

Her stomach will get bigger and she will act like she is in heat....it's just her hormones. If you wait too much longer you will be able to fill them rolling around in her belly....actually pretty cool feeling!

Take her to the vet.

If your cat has strange requests like fried chicken icecream at 3am and complains a lot, yes, she could be pregnant

If she is more than six months old, has access to the outdoors or an unneutered male, it is quite possible that she is pregnant. You should see a vet to have it confirmed.

If she's hiding in unusual spots that could be a clue.Cat's like to nest and go in to hiding when they are getting ready to have their babies!
