Trippin'? Your parents have EVERY reason to "trip" over your p*ss poor grades. Tell them you will do better, then actually do better. ACTIONS speak louder than words. Focus on your schoolwork. If you don't understand a subject, try and find a tutor. Take control of your destiny, and become an active participant in it.

Only one way, sister. Don't fight them. Join them. Tell them you have been thinking it over. That you know how bad this is because it shows that school is not working for you. Tell them you are going to give it another try and do the best you can. But say that you hope you can count on their support as you do. You need for them to start thinking that your grades are part of a whole process and system that you are in. It is the educational system. You are trying to do your part, but they need to understand that there are lots of other factors at work here beyond your own study habits.
Get them on your team by joining theirs....dig?

gurl, you better get a tutor you or pay attention to your teachers (even if you don't like them). don't get no attitudes with them, either. Be sweet and do your work and they will be willing to give a good grade with no sweat. Now with your parents: you are going to have to show them that you are determined to do better and make sure you clean or do some little things that would surprise them and they will almost look past those two bad grades. Also keep those other grades up.

You should actually try in those classes instead of doing nothing. You don't have to be super smart to succeed in classes you just have to put some effort forth. They should be upset cause those F's can come back to haunt you later. Education is the easiest way to make a good life for yourself. Maybe you don't see that now. Don't worry about them. Worry about your future and start paying attention in class

Get you head out of your other areas of interest and hit the books. Are you asking for additional help after school? Why not? Is you social life more important? I hope your parents chain you to your room with your books until you start pullings A's on your tests. You only get one chance to get it right in high school.

Stop chatting for hours on the computer every day, playing computer games until midnight, limit time wasted on the computer to 1/2 hour a day, and spend more time studying.
