Theres this guy in my class he is "flirting" with me, im not sure if it's considered flirting, but he's always try to make conversation, our shoulders touch when he is sitting beside me and just touches me sometimes...to scare me! He is nice to all the girls, that's what I thought so far, but today he was whispering something in my ear, and one of his close friends said: "You're close enough Jake, why don't you just kiss her?" Does this mean anything or am I thinking TOO much?

If you like the guy, ask him out. You can defined just about anything as flirting. It all comes down to whether or not you want him to be flirting with you.

I think of flirtings in terms of two different kinds: casual and with intent. Casual is just that, casual. It's the kind of flirting that you would do with anyone, friend or stranger, male or female. It's about maintaining positive relationships (personal or business) or simply about having fun. This I don't consider cheating. Flirting with intent is also self-explanatory. It's with the intent of something happening. It's the kind of flirting that takes place between singles who are looking to see if there's chemistry enough to possibly pursue a casual encounter or a relationship. Or if the person flirting is in a relationship, it's about looking for something on the side, something to hide from the current partner. That, I would consider cheating.

It depends, which grade are you in? bc young boys just like to annoy little girls, but if you guys are older, then it's definitely flirting, he likes you! If it bothers you, you should tell him to stop and that you don't feel comfortable with it.
