The best way I think is to rub on your plams, this helps soften it with your bodyheat. Then if you have short hair rub it around and style with finger tips... Long hair run it through ends with the tips of your fingers

I think the wax is the gel kinda...Just put some on your hand and rub a little and apply to hair and style accordingly
