If we had a UFC tournament like the original one, where everyone from every weight division can compete, who would win?

Your asking: In an all out Vale Tudo(not many rules) UFC tournament, who would be the champion without any weight classes?
Well lets break it down. I think Chuck Liddel could ICE George St. Pierre, and I believe he could also defeat big Tim Silvia. Chuck could almost definetly destroy Sean Sherk, but Sean's 5'6(very small), but fairly powerful frame would make it hard for Chuck to land shots.
Liddel might find a little competition in Rich Franklin and Anderson Silva, but I think he could defeat Franklin. Chuck would eliminate Nick Diaz, and would probably KNOCKOUT Joe Riggs and he would probably beat Diego Sanchez.
Chuck Liddel would be the overall champion. Either him, Andre Orlovski, Tim Silvia, David Loiuseau, Anderson Silva.

I would go with Arlofski. If the UFC had a no rule, open weight tournament, the "Pit Bull" would be the only one to make it through the field with the least amount of damage. Chuck Lidell and Anderson Silva are the UFC's best strikers, but Arlofski has a great ground game. He is also bigger and stronger then the light heavyweight and middle weight champs. Arlofski's style and size is comparibable to CroCop's (but with a better ground game), who just won Pride's open weight tournament.

horrible question. if the ufc was not bought by Zuffa and the rules were as they were when Gracie owned it the only champs would be grapplers and jujitsu. with out the time facter and the refes making the top man work in the ground game there would be no stand up because they would just take them down and lay there for 45 min. as in gracie vs. shamrock II. Thank God for Zuffa

Chuck Liddell would KO any of the heavyweights and all of the smaller fighters.
