nobody can tell you how badly it will hurt you. some people i know can't get tattooed without being in extreme pain, other people i know actually go to sleep while getting tattooed. when i get tattooed anywhere it hurts a lot but i can take it. i have an extreme amount of pain tolerance. also, be sure you know exactly what you want beforehand because "some sort of sweet design" in a few years may not be so sweet anymore.

Most of the people that tell you how its going to the worst kind of pain you are likely to experience have never set foot inside a tattoo studio.
Sure it is going to hurt. Sticking a needle into your skin usually does! But it is a good type of pain. You can handle it!

I have one on my lower back, and it hurt, but I got over it within a day or two. I would imagine the stomach hurts a little more, because it's more sensitive... (Believe me- I've had 2 c-sections!! LOL). But, pain is temporary, and a super sexy ab tattoo is forever, baby, so go for it!!!! â¥

the cost of the tattoo depends on the size you want and how much detail is in your design. the more meat on your bones the less it will hurt.

Never mind the pain threshold, this could be a waste of money, as you become older, you could gain weight, your stomach fall to your knees and no one would ever see it. Of course, if you're able to show your belly off, you could have spider legs tattooed on! But I wouldn't recommend it.

it will hurt, but the most sore is the back, or the upper chest. even at times the ankles and the inner skin to your arms. depends on how much you can endure . mine wasn't bad.

I got a picture of Jar Jar BInks playing the harp on my abs, and it hurt pretty bad. Unless you are tough like me then forget about it.
