depending on what youre trying to train it to do ..repetetion.They have to learn like everything else. keep doing the thing that you are trainging him to do over and over,but do it in short periods of time for the birds sake.Be patient with it and you will be rewarded in the end. if you give up and mistreat your bird he will sense this and not give you the satisfaction you desire. They can be very stubborn at times so be patient with him and very loving
