Microsoft wordpad comes with every version
of windows unless yours is *really* old ;).
If you don't have it installed you can install
it from the CD. But I honestly doubt it' not
installed. It's part of the default installation.

Try OpenOffice.org instead. It is free and resembles Microsoft Word. Comes with Word Processor, SpreadSheet, Presentation, Graphics, Database and Calculator softwares.

If you are just searching for a program to view MS Word documents, then you can try Microsoft Word Viewer.

Wordpad comes with the windows installation. go to start/run, and type wordpad, it should come up.
