If so has the govrnment tried to use them to open talks with factions in Iraq

actually, 70% of the Koran is copied from the Bible. it takes out all of the stuff about God(not allah) being a God of Love and mercy and kindness. it also took stuf from the gnostics saying that Jesus didn't really die on the cross, but it was someone that they thought was Jesus because Jesus supernaturally made him look like Himself.

Yes and there are relations from Hinduism that are similar to Christianity. Most of the worlds religions are similar to another.

many many many. Christan's, Muslims and Jews... and almost every religion, share the vast majority of there believes. But religious people like to concentrate on the stupid little differences instead of the big stupid similarities.
