itunes - why do some songs not appear on my ipod -?

even though all the others were transported from itunes to ipod?

There is a little box by each song. Is it checked for the songs that didn't tranfer to your iPod? It won't transfer songs you don't have checked. Thank goodness, too, because I wouldn't want my Christmas songs on my iPod year round!

There may be some Digital Rights issues. Did you purchase these songs through I-Tunes? It could be you have exhausted all rights to transfer these songs to new devices.

you tell it to transfer only checked items only and make your own file because if its shared with someone else in the house it will load their music also and if there is an ! next to it you have to find it in a differant folder like my documents of something like that
