Know what you mean here. I was in the same boat a little over a year ago. I'd been friends with this girl for a while and I developed a crush on her. I was too afraid to ask her out too. Eventually, a mutual friend told her how I felt and she felt the same way. Things worked out pretty well. We've been dating for 51/2 months or so. My advice is go for it. If she is a true friend then she should respect your feelings even if she doesn't feel the same way. Ask her she wants to take things to the next level. You have to be carefully. If she says no, then you can't go treating her any differently even if you are hurt by it a little. She shouldn't change because you show interest in her so neither should you.

I know exactly what that's like.... I would suggest a passive-aggressive approach. Make it seem like it is her decision, but she will be making the decision. Good luck.

Tell her:

"Hey. I think that the entire time that we have been really close friends, I have been feeling like I want to take the relationship to the next level. If you are ready, then so am I. If not, then I'm not either. It's your choice."

how do you imagine she ought to experience if she knew you've been asking the international for suggestion? she ought to imagine you do not have any self assurance and also you're awkward and there is not any element to flow out with you. females love self assurance and women love douchebags. you're neither, so no women will have an interest in you. locate self assurance, pretend it on the starting up once you should and then construct it up.

I'm going through the same thing with one of my friends! I think you should ask her. She won't be mean about it. Girls are very caring (well, a lot are). I know that i would love it if the guy i love asked me out. I might ask him now to a dance...

dude If you make the move and even if she says ok lets go out and things progress to the hot and heavy you have still blown it because eventually you will break up and when you do wham there goes your girlfriend and the one person who used to be there for you to help you through loosing a girlfriend, all gone in one clean swoop

well i think you should, if you dont you will always wonder what if she said yes? give her subtle hints that you're interested and if she gives them back then ask her. i would definitley go for it, but if she doesnt make it clear that you want to always be friends no matter what. either way she will be flattered no matter her response. :) hope i helped and good luck to ya!!

Be courageous and take that chance. Make it special though, like set up everything and even have something special to give her then she couldn't resist!!!

build up the courage and pass her a note that says "look at me" then when she looks at you tell her you like her (or love her). don't put too much pressure on her though
