i'm an avid protection rigidity provider cap collector, the cap you're asking is a US military protection rigidity Police provider gown cap, it exchange into worn from 1957-1992, to distiguish themselves, however purely worn on accountability. The Air rigidity had a matching cap besides, however no eco-friendly and yellow piping and the enlisted insignia exact for the Air rigidity, they phased out their white gown cap, 1956-1975, whilst they began donning the blue berets. I even have in no way seen this conceal in specific worn with the gown blues for the army, it particularly is in no way been a uniform requirement to possess the gown blues, for this reason they have been given issued the eco-friendly provider gown. The blues have purely been worn for specific gadgets, the old shield and Honor Guards, it particularly is used as a proper uniform. however now they are going to section out the vegetables and purely use the blues. for the period of world conflict II, the logos used, a white band around the helmet or a white peaked cap, a white webbing Sam Browne belt, white gloves, and white gaiters, on the familiar olive drab uniform. An MP armband exchange into additionally worn on the left arm, usually black with white letters.

I'm sure it's been brought up lots of time before, but the Army berets just have to go regardless of whatever other changes are made. The absurdity of having a head gear that you have to shave then get wet and stick your head in (that activity should be reserved for your girlfriend), and then it's not even something you would wear in the field anyway. So your walking around in garrison with almost the uniform you would wear in the field except for the stupid beret.

What the hell is wrong with the old cap that you can't wear it in garrson but you do wear in the field? Should we really be stealing uniform ideas from the europeans anyway. It's fine when it's reserved for rangers and special forces, since it's sort of a status symbol for them. But by becoming a form of headgear that everyone in the army wears, it ends up losing it's meaning and just becomes absurd.

While I am sure you won't beleve me, and have no reason to.

But I actually worked on the last army BDU patterns and design. ( I personally worked on changing the pocket lliner,
the inside shape of the pocket) making the inside corners more round.
