No. The parable of the good Samaritan illustrates my point. I am only going to paraphrase.
A man was walking down the street. Suddenly, he was attacked by men, beaten and mugged. A preist walked down the street, saw him, and crossed the street to the other side. A Levite saw him, but kept walking. A Samaritian walked by, dressed his wounds, put him on a camel, and took him to an inn. He gave the innkeeper two silver coins, so that the man could stay at the inn until he was well.
So, PEACE OUT!

Anyone can be "considered" a good Christian. It depends on who is doing the considering.
To be considered a Christian and to really be a Christian are not necessarily the same thing. One is determined by what others think of you and the other is determined by what you really are.
In order to actually be a Christian, a person must have an awakened conscience which is under the influence and control of the Holy Spirit. He or she must be asking for and receiving each day, the grace of God to live a Christlike life. Trusting in God's power to keep them from doing wrong and enabling them to do right.
In order to be "considered" a Christian, a person just has to make a claim to the name and follow religious rules including church attendance. He doesn't even really have to do this. If people think he or she is a Christian because he/she or someone else says so, then they can be considered a Christian.
No comittment is necessary. No need to change any bad habits. No need to aim for anything higher. Character development not required. Don't be considered a Christian. Actually be a Christian.

No. Going to church one a week does not make a good Christian any more than going to school makes you a good teacher.
Being a Christian—in it's original from in the book of Acts, which is found in the Bible, chapter 11, verse 23-26—is about being Like [Jesus] Christ.
Peace or justice are seperate issues Christians can choose to, or not to get involved in.

Going to Church does not make you a good person
Reading the bible does not make you a good person
Praying does not make you a good person
Being a Christian does not make you a good person
I'm an atheist and consider myself a good person, I help family and friends out, give to charity, be nice whenever I can and always try to do the "right" thing.
Justice and Peace are born of society, you should do your utmost
to aid society in any way you can. These are not the teachings of the bible, they are the teachings of common sense and decency, which are born out of brotherhood of man, which is a product of evolution.

No. The Devil may seat right next to you in Church every weekend, but if he is dressed up in a beautiful suit you won't know.
When people sin, they either do it because of ignorance or they do it because they know they are sinning. The latter is the worst of the two. So, this person has learned the truth of God and his teachings but has not applied them. Being in Church does not equal being a saint.

The term "Christian" means to live a "Christ-like" life. Christ's life was an example of love for others, honesty, compassion and strength. Going to church has very little to do with being Christ-like.

Ah, Good question...
They aren't keeping all the rules of their "religion" if they do that. God talks very strongly about Justice, and God wants to give us peace.
I believe as Christians we have a lifestyle and it needs to be evident in every area of our life... I flunk sometimes but God is gracious and HIGHLY patient. Praise Our Lord God, who was and is to come.

There is no such thing as a "good" Christian or a "good" person for that matter. All sin and fall short of the glory of God and all our righteousnesses have become like filthy rags. Christ gave us one specific new command "love one another".
1 John 4
20If anyone says, "I love God," yet hates his brother, he is a liar. For anyone who does not love his brother, whom he has seen, cannot love God, whom he has not seen. 21And he has given us this command: Whoever loves God must also love his brother.
