A small Krispy Kreme opened up across from The Bay in Scarborough Town Centre about two years ago. It didn't have good business and got shut down but the building is still there. Does anyone know what they are planning on doing with the building? Will they eventually demolish it or will something else open there?

At the rate that place is expanding it won't be long before someone else is using the land. (The stores are popping up everywhere areound that mall) I am not sure what they plan to do with it although if you keep a watch on the Scarborough Town Centre's website they tell you about upcoming stores. (including the ones around the mall) If someone will replace it I assume it will be on there eventually.

It's up for lease if someone wants it. I've never been into that building so I don't know if it is a bad design but if someone wanted to put another restaurant in there, they would just have to talk to whoever the owners are. I'm not sure if Scarborough Town Centre owns that land or not - it could be someone else. Basically, it's just up to whomever owns it as to what's going to be done with it.

It's a very distinctive looking building, so I'm not sure if anyone else would want to move in there.
I'm guessing it gets torn down
