Occupational Therapy focuses on the upper extremities
PT focuses on gait, walking, mobility
OT focuses on dexterity of your hands to perform everyday tasks like cooking, hygeine, etc.
Your Major would be Physical or Occupational Therapy with emphasis in pediatrics.

Actually, technically, physical therapists work on things that restore function, improve mobility, relieve pain, and prevent or limit permanent physical disabilities. They restore, maintain, and promote overall fitness and health.
In comparison, OT's usually work on vocational and life skills, although more pediatric OT's are working with kids on the autism spectrum with things like sensory integration, handwriting, dressing, etc.
Both require at least a masters degree from a certified therapy program. I would contact the university you attend and ask their suggestions for a bachelors degree that would be most flexible for getting into the master's program at their school.
