I would like for him to have a car just because i have had bad experiences in the past with guys useing me because i have a acar and they don't...... but if you have been getting along fine without one and there is a great reason why (like you are going to school clear across the country) then no it wouldn't matter.

My guy doesn't have a car. I do. I find it really doesn't matter to me personally whether or not he does. It also helps our college is in a small town with nothing to do off campus. Cars ARE useful if the girl is interested in being taken out and pampered. But if the guy is interesting enough, a car shouldn't matter.

I dated someone who didn't have a car.
I was the one who drove.
I didn't have a big problem about it... because I knew that seeing the guy was worth it.

No too material oriented, when he can afford one then he shall have one, but at least he is furthering his education for the long run...

it depends where he lives. if he doesn't live in the city, then he should probably have a car
