According to most religious people being atheist will send you straight to hell, but if you murder someone in cold blood but "repent" for it than its ok.
Does that sound just to anyone?

I seriously hope you Christians don't really think being atheist is worse than killing someone.
That's ridiculous.

As an atheist, you'll be pleased to know that I'm happy to take my chances with Hell. I don't plan on killing anyone, however.

I'm not an outspoken atheist, but a question like this will only leave me to believe that God is arrogant and selfish and that I won't worship Him. The Bill of Rights gives us the right to exercise our freedom of speech. I know that sounds blunt but when someone says your going to hell for not believing in either God and/or Jesus that's arrogant to me. That would be me saying "there is no god." My point is that it sounds hateful. What about Ted Haggard or gospel singer Kirk Franklin admitting that he was addicting to watching pornos?

Yea, I think being an atheist is worse. But even that can be overcome by asking for forgiveness. And accepting Jesus Christ as your Lord and Saviour. Does spending enternity in hell sound like something you want to do??

i comprehend my answer will seem somewhat off the mark right here yet, i come across this type of religion truly contradictory, the bible says a watch for a watch, so my knowledge of that's that it really is alright to kill someone in the adventure that they have got killed someone. also its specifically followers of this faith which have the severe moral stance on abortion, pointing out that women don't have the right to pick and that determination can purely be made by the guy and that had the foetus been requested then it would pick life. yet even as it come to suicide and someone comes to a decision about ones personal life, it really is now no longer your perfect to pick now to not stay. i do not get it, you won't be able to say its alright to kill someone yet its no longer alright to kill someone, (the states that help the demise penalty are typically contained in the bible belt)then say its your determination yet its no longer your determination.

i would maybe think murder because even though you might believe in god, and you go and murder someone, thats doing 2 sins (major ones) but being athiest is one major thing, but if you go and murder someone, thats going against god's "laws" and killing a person. do u get what im saying? lol

Those are exactly the same.
This is the equation
SIN (darn it no broken thingy represtnting not) NOT FORGIVEN = separatioin from God. (SCARY HUH?)
Repentance, is turning from sin to God, not going back. It doesn't mean the murder was Ok, God knows the heart, and I believe if someone said in their heart I will murder then repent, I don't know how that would go down...

The sin of unbelief is the only thing that can't be forgiven in this lifetime...it makes sense, doesn't it?
