God and goodness have almost become synonyms, though. It is not necessarily that all good person do or need to have faith in God.
But most among the good people do have faith in the omnipresence and omnipotence of God. Because faith in God helps in building positive thoughts. It composes hope and aspiration for higher values in life. One gets a spiritual vision to mundane matters.

Faith in God is not necessary, however the laborers know that their masters will whip them into submission if they do not work, the laborers stand to loos their home, car, food and their small part in society, making more children for the rich

No. Morality and faith are two different things. A good man doesn't have to believe in god to be good. And having a strong faith in god doesn't necessarily mean you're going to be a good man, just ask your nearest pedophile priest! A good, moral, law-abiding person doesn't have to believe in god, you just need a conscience and self-awareness.

depends on what you believe, if ur a christian yes, faith is required in order to gain salvation, everything in life is based on some sort of faith if you really think about, same goes for god.

in the beginning up God walked with guy(open communique)guy sinned,God being holy and righteous can not be around sin so He forged guy out of the backyard(enter faith)years later He got here to earth Himself(Jesus)died on the bypass and rose back re-organising our connection to Him! miracles take place well-known you purely could seek for them(heavily in specific circumstances)because of the fact the secular information purely comments on the evil of the worldwide and each now and then of a few acts of kindness! seek for and you shall discover!!!!!
