People with ADHD are VERY creative! They are also often very outgoing and do great with hands on/active things. Usually pretty good in the athletic area. Being active in these areas also helps with ADHD. Many people are not really ADHD by the way, they just are what is known as kinestetic learners. In other words they learn best by hands on/ or motion. Not everyone is meant to sit stock still in a boring classroom, listioning to someone go on and on about something that does not interest you! I have taught many ADHD students, some were the best that I had!

Looking for a silver lining? I find I have to be very patient, which is good in any situation or attitude, explaining what I mean to people helps them to understand how frustrating my life is never understanding them [once told my sister that when she gets upset cuz cant understand me, that I am like that with every single conversation...how would she like that?], and am able to completely focus on one thing at hand, which can be good at certain tasks or jobs. Another, is that because of the brain not developing parts like it should, we actually give off a childlike helpless vibe that people respond to readily, which we need.
This help? Oops, you're gone to something else already...lol.

So many good things...you can multitask like nobody's business, you notice things that most people overlook, often you are good with kids, you tend to be interested in many things giving you a very ecclectic personality, you are never bored. Those are a few off the top of my head. But you can either let it hinder you or use your unique brain chemistry to your advantage. Your choice.

creativity
energy to do things
really smart if they can focus
stuff like that i think its good until its messing up your whole life like it is for me right now
but there are some goods things about it
one thing that i think is really cool is that i notice almost everything that nobody else notices but that also means i have no idea what the teacher just said.....
and i guess there are lots of good things about it but not for me right now cause its making my life pretty messed up... or that could be a different disorder... im not sure

creativity...and one is allowed to be a bit nuts...but the creative piece...and we tend to be on the brilliant side of the i.q. test, so not stupid, just not paying attention. (probably distracted by the creative part).
