This book is titled "Communication Concepts, Agenda-setting". I'm having some trouble translationg "issue proponents" in this sentence (i don't even know what it means):

What is agenda-setting? The agenda-setting process is an ongoing competition among issue proponents to gain the attention of media professionals, the public, and policy elites.

thanks for your time! :)

You can translate it two ways that I can figure out.
1. partidario del asunto
2. defensor del asunto

Proponent means that some is for something and will defend it as well as work for its acceptance.

I stay right here in Puerto Rico and there are assorted issues translated from Spanish to English for the vacationers. some places are from Spanish to chinese language, even in Hebrew. studying a language is basic, yet for some the pronunciation is complicated yet many will provide an attempt to learn something. many countries translate from their own language to English. some products come from different international places to the U.S. or maybe right here and the learning are in a minimum of three languages.
