i bought a really nice black turtle neck from the gap yesterday... i'm going to wear it with antique-dark jeans and those pointy-black-flat shoes... how should i wear my hair? i'm indian, so my hair is black also, and it's cut in layers...

I have found that when you wear a turtleneck, if you wear your hair up, it makes your neck look very long, so I would wear it down, with a pretty silver necklace. That way the attention is drawn to your face, and not to your neck. Hope it helped, sorry if it didnt.

Hair down with area bangs and wearing a V-neck accurate or halter-decrease accurate will make you seem slimmer. do not turtlenecks make you look chunkier? because it purely promises width on your neck and make you appear like you dont have a neck. one among my acquaintances is truly skinny and she wears turtle neck tops to seem better voluptuous.

Dont wear it down cuz it'll make u look like one of the Adam family's sisters, i say put ur hair in a pony tail to the back with one of those cute bumps on the top of ur head (it looks like a small hill on top of ur head) and wear some cute earrings with it and u should be set

hmm.. you should tie your hair half way.
Like just grab half of your hair, comb the half of your top hair back like a regular pony tail, then tie it. you could like leave some bangs in the front. Whatever looks better, it can be w/bangs or w/o bangs.

a pony tail always works w/ a turtleneck. basically... anything that puts your hair up and lets your neck be seen.

a bun or a high ponytail should do the trick....gives more of illusion of a neckline
