Lovebirds are normally very noisy. It may be afraid and having a hard time getting used to its new surroundings.
For now, don't take it out. Just go to the cage and open the door and talk softly to it. Once it gets used to your voice, touch it to pet it, but don't try to hold it. Next put your fingers in front of its feet and say "step up". When it finally starts to step up, don't take it out of the cage yet for a day or two. Just hold it in the cage and talk to it.
Just take it slow and one step at a time. Get it a mirror and some toys and spend time. It'll come around. I'm saying this because you didn't mention it biting you. If it's not biting, you have a chance to tame it.
Good luck.

It all depends in wether the bird was being handfed or if it was just a normal one. When you first buy a bird, it is important to try to let it know that now you are his companion and that he shouldnt be afraid of you. The first thing a bird that is not trained thinks is that you are going to harm him, and even if you play with him, hes not going to get that confidence. Youb have to let him out of the cage everyday, but dont chase after him every time because he is going to get stresed. This behavior has to do with the enviromen. Do you have any other birds? If you answered no, then you might want to consider on getting another one, because a lot of birds are very social and specially lovebirds. They have to hear that sound of another bird in order to fell himself at home. Good luck with that bird!

Your one Lovebird is Lonely. Are you sure it is a male ? The name Lovebird means exactly that. Lovebirds are not happy unless they have a partner. One way to make your Lovebird happy and healthy, is to purchase a mate. Another Lovebird and you will see how he excells. Lovebirds are meant to be a pair. One Lovebird, is lonely. I raise Lovebirds and I know from experience. Good Luck.!

It just takes a while to adjust. It sounds like you are doing everything right. Just have patience and hope! Good luck!
Warning! If you get a 2nd lovebird they will bond with EACH OTHER AND NOT YOU!
Patience. You'll have a happy, friendly bird in a few weeks or months.

the element with birds is they are much less have faith worth in the event that they are not hand raised. it sounds to me as in the journey that your chicken wasnt hand fed or raised as a new child. you may in no way basically stick your hand in there itll freak your chicken out much greater and at last it would chew you for risk-free practices. extremely you utilize the aproach and end technique. u pass nearer every time and there could be an improvment. its significant to try this because of the fact basically as a chicken might prefer to have relaxing out of a cage you will have a good time with your chicken much greater if it 8s tamed and additionally you will easily play with it and function it exterior the cage. wish this facilitates you!
