some of these answers are mean and stereotypical i'm not even asking to u to become religious but some of u people do bash religion and i mean all religions not just christianity and judaism but all them and don't say u dont cause u some of u do

You may dislike me all you want for being an atheist. That only reveals your own lack in character.
I speak out against beliefs (not people) that result in the believer violating the rights of others, or harming the progress of humanity. I do not, however, dislike anyone until I know them.

Yes, it's wrong to dislike them for what they believe. That's what you say they do & now you want to act like them?
Not all atheists 'bash' people. They simply have their beliefs and live their lives. Don't sterotype them because the more 'vocal' ones give you the wrong impression. Get to know people & make an informed, smart choice.
Also, not all proclaimed atheists are actually atheists, some just don't know what to believe or don't CARE to believe.
Also, athiest don't belive in God or deities, but it doesn't mean they don't have faith in something.

I believe having a religion is the most retarded and pathetic thing in the world, and I'm sure you would agree that it brings your life nowhere, and makes promises only about the "life after death" which you never even know if you'll have. So why don't you try to do something valuable in this life, instead of just waiting to go to heaven. You can dislike me, but that's your problem. I'm not gonna get offended.

And people who have religion bash people who don't. It is the same on both sides for some. I'm an agnostic Christian but I'm open mined. Your not wrong you are just a hypocrite and you are ignorant.

Then you haven't read much of your own religion, I would assume. It is VERY wrong to dislike atheists or any other group simply on the grounds that thy don't agree with you. Try some love and compassion.,,maybe a little acceptance.

well everybody has the right to have their own beliefs....many people have lost their faith through experiences in their life and it is a sad thing to lose faith but it happens...then again as i originally said people have the right to believe what they want and to have their own opinion so if you dislike athiests well thats your personal opinion and people shouldnt ---- ( i cant think of the word that i need for there!!) you for it!!

Not all athiests bash religious peoples, just like not all religious peoples bash athiests. Don't generalize.
And yeah, it is wrong to dislike them. You can disagree with their views, but you shouldn't dislike them for it.
